Design has always been a big part of my life. For many years I used my corporate experience in marketing and management to design campaigns and strategies that helped companies grow. But I realized what I was really drawn to was interior design; how things looked in a home, the feel of a beautiful fabric, the way someone’s environment can affect their happiness. Which is what sent me back to school to study the art of design. Soon after graduation, I apprenticed with one of the area’s best window design experts. Combining my experience in the business world with my love of design, I opened Linda’s Decors.
“I love what I do. It combines my business background with my love of design while I get to make clients happy! Really, what could be better?”
I believe that window treatments should be created where the windows are, which is why my office is a mobile showroom overflowing with an enormous variety of fabrics, samples, and hardware. When I go to a client’s home, I can get a clear understanding of the homes aesthetic, the room’s assets, and the clients’ vision. And because I have samples with me, I can show a client all of the possibilities in real time. I can accurately measure, properly assess light exposure, and determine how those and other factors will play into choosing the perfect solution. This combined with years of design experience and a true understanding of the available options makes selecting window treatments easy, painless, and actually fun.
